Saanen

Saanen is a municipality in the canton of Bern in Switzerland, and it features the stereotypical Swiss Alpine landscape. We visited our friend who is working there for the summer and she took us on a beautiful walk along the ridge between the Saane and Simme valleys. We caught a train to Zweisimmen - the greenest valley in Europe -  where we took a cable car up the Rinderberg. From there we followed the ridge to the Horneggli and walked down to Schönried.
